Boat dock was claimed that it was new. Except only the wood walkway is new and large metal framing is protruding out from dock from where former slips broke off ready to take a nasty bite out of your new boat. No warnings or signage to avoid the outer side of dock. No rubber bummer area either. Advertised as RV resort and denied that the back half is merely a trailer park of full timers. Said they would take care of our damage and now denying their responsibility! Want to sell you membership like Thousand Trails...but so not worth the $$$! Avoid this place!
Great place for family camping. Swimming pool, mini golf, club house with pool table, cable TV. Breakfast Saturday and Sunday.
Lived and worked there as part of the staff for about 6 months. This place was the definitive guide to how to hide your trailer trash rv park as a resort. The large fields are for septic tank leech fields that do not keep up with 'demand' on the busiest times of year unless there has been little rain recently. The rules in place have everything to do with charging visitors for more 'services' or hiding the fact that they can't handle the services they have in place, such as power. The staff put on a pretty face for customers but I have never been so disgusted by the behind the scenes attitudes of the majority of the staff. They were often barely above cartoonish nastiness. In fact the only reason I worked there for so long despite these and other issues is due to the fact that I had a family member recovering from major surgery living with me and I desperately needed a stable place for them to recover. If I could post a zero star review I would this place deserves it.
Great place to camp. Everyone there is very unfriendly. They have breakfast on the weekends, $6.00 and it can feed 2 people! Have events on Saturday's. Or you can just relax.....
Clean, we'll maintained. Lots of activities. Great for a short visit or a great place to call home.
